Repton Community Centre Volunteering (6th Form)

Students in Quest class have been working hard at Repton Community Centre. They are helping to create an allotment where people living in the area can go if they want to do some gardening (some people who live nearby live in flats and do not have gardens). Students have been digging, weeding, moving 3 tonnes of bark from one area of the woodland to another, and have been generally tidying the area up.

The highlight has been break time where students have been able to choose a snack from the community fridge. Often companies like Tesco deliver food to Repton and members of the community can help themselves to food from the fridge.

One week we were lucky enough to have Danish pastries on our break!
