Tis the season to have pantos and The Wyvern School has enjoyed many over the last couple of weeks.
Wiley Wolf Pantomime came into school to perform Aladdin for us all last week and it was simply wonderful. All the children enjoyed singing and dancing, there were tears and laughter to be heard from as far as the front door! In fact at one point, there were a number of children who were going to rescue Princess Jasmine!
On Tuesday 11th December Neptune, Tigers and Elephants classes were all invited to go to the Leas Cliff Hall to watch the pantomime Dick Whittington. As you can see from the photos below, they thoroughly enjoyed it, oh yes they did and they even had a little dance and a sing to Baby Shark. Thank you to Rachel for organising the event for us and well done to all three classes, who were a pleasure to take out :O)
The classes in Key Stage 2 have all been working very hard on their plays, ‘The Gold Star Inn’ or ‘The Christmas Eve Tree’ and we hope you enjoyed coming to see them. The Gold Star Inn was a nativity based play, with lots of singing and signing for the children to enjoy and the Christmas Eve Tree had lots of dancing which was great fun, so there was something for everyone. We wanted to say how proud we were of all the children, as they have worked hard to learn their lines, dances or songs, they have been patient throughout our rehearsals and they’ve even created props and videos for you to watch – very well done to you all!! From all of us here, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!!
