Duke Of Edinburgh Award.

Over the Summer holiday the assessors from the Duke of Edinburgh Award have checked and passed the 5 students who have finished their Duke Of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
To achieve the award the students have taken part in a litter picking and conservation project, Learned a new skill and undertaken a regular physical activity for betwwen 3 and 6 months.
They have also taken part in 2 expeditions, which involve two days of walking with an overnight camp inbetween. The students worked as a team to set up the tents and cooked together on gas stoves.
As well as acheiving a great award the students also learnt a lot about themselves, as well as some good independence and life skills.
