6th Form Christmas Fair...

The Christmas season began in earnest on Saturday 7th December with the 6th form Christmas Fair. There was a lovely atmosphere, with Christmas crafts, cakes, candy floss and jams for sale, as well as games and cookie decorating for students (and adults) to get stuck into. Father Christmas had lots of little visitors and Emma Williams kept everyone hydrated and fed with frothy coffees and mince pies.

Students, staff and parents helped by manning the stalls and the Duke of Edinburgh students completed some volunteering, a representative from the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme sold his own jams and raised a whopping £250 which will go towards the students’ trip to Finland. The fair was very well attended and the total raised for mini-enterprise, Duke of Edinburgh and the sixth form was approximately £450.

Thank you so much to staff, parents, carers and students who either helped out or attended – we really appreciate your support.
